TAPP's Pledge
TAPP makes this pledge to all who join it as members or otherwise rely on it:
  • TAPP will pick good principles. Not all principles are good ones.
  • TAPP's principles will be stated in writing. While all candidates claim to have principles, few are able or willing to write them down.
  • TAPP's policies will be consistent with its declared principles. Why else have principles?
  • TAPP will publicly expel individuals who embraced TAPP's principles to get elected but fail to honor them as incumbents. What other purpose distinguishes legitimate political parties from the factions that America's founders found abhorrent?
  • TAPP will hold its members, and those claiming its support, to public debate charactreized by adult and intellectually honest reasoning to a conclusion: Not childish and dishonest squabbling to rationalize pre-existing beliefs.
